UPS Next Day Air is one flat livestock shipping charge per order, the carrier cost of getting it out of Key West alive. A box typically holds around five small frags, so adding compatible corals to the same shipment usually will not add another box fee or change the shipping charge. Larger colonies, species that cannot share water, or extreme weather can require a second box. Orders with $349 or more in qualifying livestock ship free.

Description

TUG Toxic Green Torch Coral is a branching large-polyp stony coral selected for intense green fluorescence and long, flowing tentacles. The retail name describes this aquarium strain rather than a verified species designation.

Care Guide

Torch corals respond best to stable reef conditions and gentle, indirect water movement that keeps the tentacles swaying without folding or whipping the flesh against the skeleton. Acclimate gradually and leave open space for nighttime sweeper tentacles.

Lighting: PAR 100–200

Flow: Low to moderate — gentle and indirect

Placement: Lower to mid-tank with ample open space

Care level: Intermediate

Compatibility: Aggressive sweepers; provide clear space from neighboring corals

Feeding

Primarily photosynthetic, but may accept small meaty foods one or two times per week. Feed sparingly and do not force food into a retracted polyp.

Placement and Flow

Use enough indirect flow for steady, relaxed tentacle movement without a direct jet. Keep the fleshy polyp clear of sharp rock and give the coral room to expand fully.

What to Expect

Shipping can temporarily reduce extension. Allow the coral to settle under stable conditions before changing placement. Actual coloration and extension depend on spectrum, intensity, flow, nutrients, and acclimation.
