Anemones
Anemones are captivating and dynamic additions to reef aquariums, known for their vibrant colors and symbiotic relationships with clownfish. With their flowing tentacles and unique behavior, they add both beauty and movement to your tank. Anemones thrive in stable water conditions, making them perfect for experienced aquarists looking to enhance their reef ecosystem.
Anemones for Sale — Conditioned in Key WestSaltwater anemones are the centerpiece most reefers want and the one most people rush. Bubble Tip anemones (Entacmaea quadricolor) are the sensible place to start — they host clownfish readily, split as they grow, and forgive the occasional parameter swing. Carpet anemones (Stichodactyla) are the showpiece, and they ask for a mature, stable tank with strong lighting and real flow before you even think about one. Rock flower anemones (Phymanthus crucifer) sit in between: small, hardy, wildly colorful, and happy in a sand bed where they will not roam far.Every anemone here is conditioned in our Key West systems on natural seawater before it ships, so what arrives is already eating and settled rather than straight off a transshipper. Two things worth knowing before you buy: anemones walk until they find the light and flow they want, so screen your powerheads and overflow first, and give a new one several days to choose its own spot before you decide it is unhappy. A deflated anemone on day two is usually normal. A tank without guards on the pumps is not.Straight answer on shippingUPS Next Day Air on a livestock box costs us about $30 in Florida and $45 to $75 out of state. Our charge is $30 and $50 respectively, so the longer the route the more of it we absorb, and past a $349 livestock subtotal there is no charge to you at all. Everything goes UPS Next Day Air on Tuesday or Wednesday out of Key West, never later in the week, so nothing risks a weekend in a warehouse.
