Packing and shipping are charged per box, not per coral. The $10 packing fee covers the insulated box, heat or ice packs and the time it takes to pack live coral safely; overnight UPS is the carrier cost of getting it out of Key West alive. A box typically holds around five small frags, so adding compatible corals to the same shipment usually will not add another packing or shipping charge. Larger colonies, species that cannot share water, or extreme weather can require a second box. Orders with $349 or more in qualifying livestock ship free.

Care Guide

Lighting: Moderate — PAR 75–150. Acclimate gradually and watch the tissue and daily extension before increasing intensity.
Flow: Low-to-moderate, random and indirect. Polyps should sway freely without being folded over or pinned in one direction.
Placement: Lower-to-middle rockwork with room to encrust. Leave open room for the colony to expand without rubbing rock or neighboring corals.
Feeding: Fine planktonic or powdered coral food can be offered in small portions two or three times weekly. Avoid allowing food to collect on the tissue or substrate.

Keep salinity and alkalinity stable, change one variable at a time, and use sustained polyp extension as feedback. A temporarily closed flowerpot coral is a symptom to investigate, not a diagnosis by itself.
