Packing and shipping are charged per box, not per coral. The $15 packing fee covers the insulated box, heat or ice packs and the time it takes to pack live coral safely; overnight UPS is the carrier cost of getting it out of Key West alive. A box typically holds around five small frags, so adding compatible corals to the same shipment usually will not add another packing or shipping charge. Larger colonies, species that cannot share water, or extreme weather can require a second box. Orders over $399 ship free.

Florida: $30 overnight livestock shipping. Qualifying Florida livestock orders under 6 lb ship overnight for a flat $30, plus the $15 packing fee. Heavier or mixed shipments use our standard overnight rate, and orders over $399 ship free either way.

Livestock ships to the continental US. Alaska needs a shipping quote before you order, and we cannot ship coral to Hawaii — get in touch first.

Description

This coral is suitable for reef tanks that have balanced chemistry (intermediate). The photos are taken with no filter using a Sony A 7 IV with a Sigma Macro Lens. The video file is shot under blue spectrum.

Corals can detach from the plug during shipping, this is normal as they get bounced around during shipping.

Corals should be acclimated to temp and then placed in quarantine. We do our absolute best to avoid any pests, we still suggest you dip all corals after they have been placed in a quarantine tank for a few days.

I grow these out under 125 par, we suggest you place the coral in slightly lower lighting and then move up over the course of a week. This works for us and it will also work for you.

Torch Coral (Euphyllia glabrescens) is one of the most popular LPS corals in the hobby, known for its long, flowing tentacles tipped in vivid color that sway gracefully in current. It prefers low to moderate lighting and gentle, indirect flow, and rewards regular feeding of meaty foods with excellent growth and polyp extension. Give it ample space, as its sweeper tentacles can sting neighboring corals.

Placement: Middle of the tank with gentle, indirect flow. Give 4-6 inches of clearance — sweeper tentacles can sting neighboring corals.
