Packing and shipping are charged per box, not per coral. The $10 packing fee covers the insulated box, heat or ice packs and the time it takes to pack live coral safely; overnight UPS is the carrier cost of getting it out of Key West alive. A box typically holds around five small frags, so adding compatible corals to the same shipment usually will not add another packing or shipping charge. Larger colonies, species that cannot share water, or extreme weather can require a second box. Orders with $349 or more in qualifying livestock ship free.

Livestock ships UPS Next Day Air on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so nothing sits in a facility over a weekend. We ship livestock within the continental U.S. only. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.

Description

Blue Raven Blasto fully aqua-cultured. We are a full service saltwater aquarium shop in Key West with a strong focus on aqua-culture (FL Certificate #AQ0254072). I take my time with all of my corals. You will not find any coral in the shop that is bought and resold immediately. Everything goes through a vigorous dipping process and stays for at least 3 months before it is resold. You have my personal guarantee that your coral will be healthy and ready to grow in your tank. Thank you for supporting our small business in Key West. This coral is suitable for salt water tanks and is very easy to grow! The photos are taken with no filter using a Sony A 7 IV with a Sigma Macro Lens. The video file is shot under blue spectrum. You will receive a frag with 5-8 polyps.

Corals can detach from the plug during shipping, this is normal as they get bounced around during shipping.

Corals should be acclimated to temp and then placed in quarantine. We do our absolute best to avoid any pests, we still suggest you dip all corals after they have been placed in a quarantine tank for a few days.

Our LPS tank runs at around 50-100 par, we suggest you place the coral in slightly lower lighting and then move up over the course of a week. This works for us and it will also work for you.

Blastomussa is a hardy, popular LPS with round, fleshy polyps that cluster together in a honeycomb-like pattern. It thrives under low to moderate lighting and gentle, indirect flow, and its coloration intensifies with regular feeding of meaty foods.

Live arrival guaranteed. Photograph the animal in the sealed, unopened bag and send it to us within 4 hours of the delivery scan.
Approved claims are resolved with a replacement or store credit. We do not issue cash refunds on livestock.
