The $10 Box & Handling Fee is charged per box, not per coral. It covers the insulated box, heat or ice packs and the time it takes to pack live coral safely. UPS Next Day Air is one flat livestock shipping charge per order, the carrier cost of getting it out of Key West alive. A box typically holds around five small frags, so adding compatible corals to the same shipment usually will not add another box fee or change the shipping charge. Larger colonies, species that cannot share water, or extreme weather can require a second box. Orders with $349 or more in qualifying livestock ship free.

Care Guide

Lighting: Low to medium; acclimate gradually when moving into brighter light.
Flow: Moderate and indirect, with enough movement to keep the cap clean.
Placement: Lower-to-middle rockwork with ample room to expand.
Compatibility: Low direct stinging risk, but leather corals can affect nearby corals through chemical competition. Use fresh activated carbon and provide space in mixed reefs.
Feeding: Direct feeding is generally unnecessary. Stable nutrients and normal reef feeding are usually sufficient.

Toadstools periodically close and shed a glossy surface film. Maintain steady indirect flow across the cap and avoid peeling the tissue by hand.
