The $10 Box & Handling Fee is charged per box, not per coral. It covers the insulated box, heat or ice packs and the time it takes to pack live coral safely. UPS Next Day Air is one flat livestock shipping charge per order, the carrier cost of getting it out of Key West alive. A box typically holds around five small frags, so adding compatible corals to the same shipment usually will not add another box fee or change the shipping charge. Larger colonies, species that cannot share water, or extreme weather can require a second box. Orders with $349 or more in qualifying livestock ship free.

XL WYSIWYG Devil’s Hand Leather Coral is the individual coral shown in the product photography.

This is a Devil’s Hand-type leather coral. The common name describes the colony form and is not a verified species identification. Expansion and apparent color can change with lighting, flow, nutrients, and photography.

Care Guide

Lighting: Medium — PAR 100–200. Acclimate gradually after shipping or a major lighting change.
Flow: Medium to high, indirect and varied. Good circulation helps the colony shed cleanly.
Placement: Middle-to-upper rockwork with room for the colony’s mature footprint.
Compatibility: Leather corals can release terpenes that affect nearby stony corals. Use fresh activated carbon and allow space in mixed reefs.
Feeding: Direct feeding is generally unnecessary. Stable nutrients and normal reef feeding are usually sufficient.

Leather corals periodically close and shed a glossy surface film. Maintain steady indirect flow and do not peel tissue by hand.

Approved claims are resolved with a replacement or store credit. We do not issue cash refunds on livestock.
