Ghostly pale branches erupt into glowing corallite “horns” under blue spectrum lighting, a texture-heavy acro that reads like it was carved from bone and lit from inside.

About the Glow Horn Acropora

Originally sourced from Battle Corals and grown out at TUG ever since, the Glow Horn is an expert-grade Acropora with an unusual thick-corallite growth form. Because every frag is cut to order from an established aquacultured colony, it arrives encrusted, healed, and far hardier than any wild or maricultured acro.

Care Guide

An SPS for reefers with stable, mature systems — reward it with consistency and it rewards you with structure no other acro has.

• Lighting: High — PAR 250–400. Strong, stable light develops the glowing corallites.
• Flow: High — strong randomized flow keeps tissue clean and drives growth.
• Placement: Upper rockwork with room to grow.
• Feeding: Low — photosynthetic; benefits from amino acids and fine plankton.
• Aggression: Peaceful — keep neighboring corals from touching.
• Water Parameters: Temp 76–78°F, salinity 1.025–1.026, Alk 8–9 dKH, Ca 420–440, Mg 1300–1400. Stability matters more than exact numbers.

Ships UPS Overnight every Tuesday and Wednesday from Key West, Florida. Packed with insulated box and heat or cold pack appropriate for current conditions. Specimen is carefully secured to prevent movement during transit.
