You are buying the exact caliber of coral pictured — a WYSIWYG Ultra Doughgirl Yuma Mushroom (Ricordea yuma) photographed under blue spectrum reef lighting. A solid carpet of neon-green bubble tentacles erupts across the entire disc, glowing over a rich royal-purple base with a striped lavender-and-green mouth at the center. Each specimen is approximately 3.5″ across — an exceptionally large, show-grade yuma. Two are available, and both are this caliber.

About the Yuma Mushroom (Ricordea yuma)

Ricordea yuma is a Pacific corallimorph prized for color intensity that few corals can match. Unlike its common Caribbean cousin (Ricordea florida), the yuma grows substantially larger, carries bubble tentacles across the mouth as well as the disc, and is far harder to source — especially in ultra grades. The coveted “Doughgirl” morph, with electric green bubbles over a contrasting purple body, sits at the very top of the mushroom hobby. Yumas propagate slowly and are rarely aquacultured, which is why specimens of this size and saturation are super rare and hold their value in the collector market.
