Category: Mushrooms, Soft Corals, WYSIWYG

Description

WYSIWYG Black Widow Inshore Ricordea. You are buying the exact coral in the photo: one polyp, green with a purple mouth. These are rare, and this is not your typical ricordea. The whole disc is covered in short, bubbly green tentacles with round tips, packed tight from the edge to the center. The oval mouth sits in the middle with a purple rim. Color will look a little different under your own lights.

Reefers like ricordea for good reason. It is a mushroom coral, or corallimorph, so it is hardy and forgiving once it settles in. It stays where you put it instead of wandering around the tank, and it does well without strong light. Over time a healthy polyp can split into new polyps, so one piece like this can turn into a small colony.
