The Nero 7 is AquaIllumination’s largest single-driver powerhead, delivering strong, wide-angle flow for big reef tanks and frag systems that need serious water movement from a compact, low-profile housing. The magnetic mount keeps the pump flush against the glass, and the wide-mouth intake and dispersion grate spread flow broadly rather than in one hard column.
Control runs wirelessly through AI’s app (iOS/Android), with programmable flow patterns, wave modes, feed pause, and the ability to sync multiple Nero or Orbit pumps for alternating or matched flow across the tank.
