Beautiful Pearlberry Acropora, aqua-cultured by Underwater Gardener Key West. We are a full service saltwater aquarium shop in Key West with a strong focus on aqua-culture (FL Certificate #AQ0254072).
This coral is suitable for marine aquariums with an intermediate difficulty level. I have been growing this in my own systems for over 3 years, and every piece is inspected before it ships. The photos are taken with no filter using a Sony A 7 IV with a Sigma Macro Lens. The video file is shot under blue spectrum.
You will receive a frag that is 3/4″-1″. If you are interested in a larger colony, we have a few available, please message for more info.
If you want encrusted frags, please allow 3 weeks for processing otherwise I will ship a frag glued to a plug. I am more than happy to encrust one for you just notate it in the comments.
A tank is not a reef tank without Gorgonians! I hold a commercial Florida marine life collection license and can collect many native Caribbean species where the law allows, please reach out if you want anything specific.
Corals can detach from the plug during shipping, this is normal as they get bounced around during shipping.
Corals should be acclimated to temp and then placed in quarantine. We do our absolute best to avoid any pests, we still suggest you dip all corals after they have been placed in a quarantine tank for a few days.
Our SPS tank runs at around 350-400 par, we suggest you place the coral in slightly lower lighting and then move up over the course of a week. This works for us and it will also work for you.

Acropora is the classic, fast-growing SPS coral prized for its branching or table-forming growth and vivid, saturated coloration. It requires stable, mature reef parameters, strong lighting, and strong turbulent flow to thrive, making it best suited for intermediate to advanced reefers.
Placement: Upper third of the tank, on the highest point of rockwork with strong direct flow and intense light.
