WYSIWYG Discosoma Mushroom one polyp. We are a full service saltwater aquarium shop in Key West with a strong focus on aqua-culture (FL Certificate #AQ0254072). I take my time with all of my corals. You will not find any coral in the shop that is bought and resold immediately. Everything goes through a vigorous dipping process and stays for at least 3 months before it is resold. You have my personal guarantee that your coral will be healthy and ready to grow in your tank. Thank you for supporting our small business.

This coral is suitable for salt water tanks and is very easy to grow! The photos are taken with no filter using a Sony A 7 IV with a Sigma Macro Lens. The video file is shot under blue spectrum.

Corals can detach from the plug during shipping, this is normal as they get bounced around during shipping.

Corals should be acclimated to temp and then placed in quarantine. We do our absolute best to avoid any pests, we still suggest you dip all corals after they have been placed in a quarantine tank for a few days.

Our LPS tank runs at around 50-100 par, we suggest you place the coral in slightly lower lighting and then move up over the course of a week. This works for us and it will also work for you.

Care Guide
Mushroom corals (Corallimorpharia) are among the hardiest and most beginner-friendly corals available, tolerating a wide range of lighting and flow conditions. They multiply readily once established, making a single frag a great long-term value, and appreciate low to moderate indirect flow so their disc-shaped polyps can fully extend.

Placement: Lower rockwork or sandbed in a shaded, low-flow area.
