The $10 Box & Handling Fee is charged per box, not per coral. It covers the insulated box, heat or ice packs and the time it takes to pack live coral safely. UPS Next Day Air is one flat livestock shipping charge per order, the carrier cost of getting it out of Key West alive. A box typically holds around five small frags, so adding compatible corals to the same shipment usually will not add another box fee or change the shipping charge. Larger colonies, species that cannot share water, or extreme weather can require a second box. Orders with $349 or more in qualifying livestock ship free.

Firework Clove Polyps (Clavularia sp.) – 6–8 Polyp Frag is offered under the retail name shown in the product title.

These are Clavularia clove polyps, an encrusting soft coral that can spread by runners across connected rockwork. Color terms are aquarium-trade descriptors and apparent color can vary with lighting spectrum, intensity, nutrients, and photography.

Care Guide

Lighting: Low to moderate — PAR 50–150. Acclimate gradually after shipping or a major lighting change.
Flow: Moderate — enough to keep the polyps gently swaying without pinning them down.
Placement: Middle-to-lower rockwork with room to spread. An isolated rock can make future containment easier.
Compatibility: Peaceful, but fast-growing. Give the colony its own island or a clear boundary.
Feeding: Direct feeding is optional. Normal reef feeding and stable nutrients are usually sufficient.

Keep salinity, temperature, and alkalinity stable. Avoid placing the colony where detritus can collect between closed polyps.
