SKU: SPS-GREENSTARPOLYP

Category: Clove Polyps, Soft Corals

Description

Green Star Polyps Frag is offered under the retail name shown in the product title.

This is a green star polyp frag, an encrusting soft coral that can spread quickly across connected rockwork. Color names are aquarium-trade descriptors and appearance can vary with spectrum, intensity, nutrients, and photography.

Care Guide

Lighting: Medium to high. Acclimate gradually and watch polyp extension rather than making abrupt intensity changes.
Flow: Medium to high, varied flow that moves the polyps and prevents debris from settling on the mat.
Placement: Tolerant of most placements. An isolated rock can help contain its growth and protect slower neighbors.
Compatibility: No sweeper tentacles, but it can overgrow and shade slower corals. Leave a physical gap and trim the mat as needed.
Feeding: Direct feeding is optional. Normal reef feeding and stable nutrients are generally sufficient.

Keep salinity, temperature, and alkalinity stable, acclimate changes gradually, and allow room for outward growth.

Shipping: Ships UPS Next Day Air from Key West. Current eligibility and delivery timing are shown at checkout.
