Packing and shipping are charged per box, not per coral. The $10 packing fee covers the insulated box, heat or ice packs and the time it takes to pack live coral safely; overnight UPS is the carrier cost of getting it out of Key West alive. A box typically holds around five small frags, so adding compatible corals to the same shipment usually will not add another packing or shipping charge. Larger colonies, species that cannot share water, or extreme weather can require a second box. Orders over $349 ship free.

Florida: $30 overnight livestock shipping. Qualifying Florida livestock orders under 6 lb ship overnight for a flat $30, plus the $10 packing fee. Heavier or mixed shipments use our standard overnight rate, and orders over $349 ship free either way.

Livestock ships to the continental US. Alaska needs a shipping quote before you order, and we cannot ship coral to Hawaii — get in touch first.

Wellsophyllia are free-living LPS that rest directly on the sand bed rather than attaching to rock. They prefer low to moderate lighting and low to moderate flow, and will inflate their fleshy tissue substantially during the day. Keep water parameters stable, as these corals are sensitive to sudden swings. Target-feed meaty foods such as mysis or chopped seafood 2-3 times per week for best coloration and growth.

Placement: Open sandbed, away from direct flow — tissue inflates and can be damaged by strong current or contact.
