Care Guide
Hammer Coral (Euphyllia) is a hardy, popular LPS prized for its anemone-like sweeper tentacles tipped in vivid color. It thrives under low to moderate lighting (PAR 75-150) and gentle, indirect flow — strong direct current will keep its polyps retracted. Feed 2-3x per week with meaty foods (mysis, pellets) for best growth and color, and give it plenty of room since its long sweeper tentacles can sting neighboring corals.

Placement: Middle of the tank with gentle, indirect flow. Give 4-6 inches of clearance — sweeper tentacles can sting neighboring corals.
