WYSIWYG Acan Mini Colony #7 – Teal & Orange (4–5 Polyps). You are buying the exact colony in the photo. Every polyp carries a bold two-tone pattern: bright tangerine-orange flesh covered in raised, dotted texture, locked together with patches of vivid teal and aqua. Look closer and you’ll see violet-tipped tentacles ringing each mouth, a third color that shows up best at feeding time. Like any Acan, the exact shades shift a little depending on your lighting.
This colony is healthy and feeding well. With 4–5 polyps already established, you get a mini colony with full color right away, not a single-polyp frag and a long wait for it to grow out. It’s a finished look for your tank from the day it goes in.
Acans are among the most forgiving LPS corals you can keep. Their colors pop under blue lighting, and their feeding tentacles come out at night. Keep them fed and a mini colony like this one fills out into a thick, colorful mat across the rock.
Care Guide
- Lighting: Low to moderate — PAR 50–150. Acclimate gradually.
- Flow: Low to moderate.
- Placement: Lower to middle rockwork or the sand bed.
- Feeding: Target feed small meaty foods (mysis, reef pellets) a few times a week when tentacles are out.
- Compatibility: Can extend sweeper tentacles; give it a little room from neighbors.

Livestock ships in a 4-spot box: a frag takes 1 spot, a colony takes 2, and up to 4 spots ship for one shipping charge. Each box ships UPS Next Day Air for $30 in Florida or $50 elsewhere in the continental U.S. Eligible livestock orders of $299 or more ship the first box free. A $20 Box & Handling Fee applies per box, including on free-shipping orders. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.
- Live arrival guaranteed. Photograph the animal in the sealed, unopened bag and send it to us within 4 hours of the delivery scan.
- Approved claims are resolved with a replacement or store credit. We do not issue cash refunds on livestock.
