Description

The Red Sea REEFER MAX Peninsula 350 G3 takes the same G3 chassis and adds Red Sea’s full REEF-SPEC equipment package on top, so the system runs on day one instead of waiting on separately ordered filtration and lighting. Its display holds 73.4 gallons, the sump holds 19.7, and the whole system carries 93 gallons of water on a 37.8 by 25 inch footprint.

This is a peninsula build, so the glass is finished on three sides and the overflow and plumbing are carried at one end. It is meant to come off a wall or divide a room, not to sit flat against drywall.

Volumes are the manufacturer’s figures for the system as built. Actual water volume in your room will be lower once rock and sand go in. Total height is measured to the top of the tank with it standing on its cabinet, so measure your ceiling and any shelf above the tank before you order.

Will it fit, and is it the right size for you

Peninsula means the tank is finished on three sides and is meant to come off a wall rather than sit against one, or to divide two rooms. The footprint is 37.8 by 25 inches and the overall height is 63 inches, taller than the standard REEFERs because the cabinet has to carry the plumbing at one end. Sight lines matter more than volume with this one. Stand where you will actually be looking at it before you decide.
