Description
WYSIWYG Lobophyllia Colony. You are buying the exact coral in the photo, approximately 3.5 x 3.5 inches. This is a fleshy, lobed brain coral with deep blue valleys running between thick ridges. The ridges have a pink and gold texture, with bright green flecks that catch the light. Color will vary with your lighting.
Lobophyllia is a favorite LPS brain coral, and it is easy to see why. It is hardy, it is forgiving once it settles in, and its fleshy tissue puffs up when you feed it. A colony like this makes a strong centerpiece on the lower rocks or the sand bed.
