The Red Sea REEFER MAX 625 G3 takes the same G3 chassis and adds Red Sea’s full REEF-SPEC equipment package on top, so the system runs on day one instead of waiting on separately ordered filtration and lighting. Its display holds 131.3 gallons, the sump holds 32, and the whole system carries 163.8 gallons of water on a 59.1 by 25.6 inch footprint.

Volumes are the manufacturer’s figures for the system as built. Actual water volume in your room will be lower once rock and sand go in. Total height is measured to the top of the tank with it standing on its cabinet, so measure your ceiling and any shelf above the tank before you order.

The reason to buy MAX over the standard REEFER is not convenience, it is sizing. Every piece in the package is matched at the factory to this tank’s water volume, so skimming, flow and top-off are correct from the first day rather than guessed at and re-bought six months in.
Will it fit, and is it the right size for you
Five feet long, but 25.6 inches deep and two inches taller in the tank than the 525. It holds 131.3 gallons in the display against the 525’s 111.7 on the same wall length. If you have the floor depth, this is the more useful tank of the two, and the taller water column gives you somewhere to put a real center-piece rock.
What goes with the REEFER MAX 625 G3

We are an authorized Red Sea dealer and we order any REEFER G3 configuration directly, including finishes and sizes that are not listed on this page. If you are in Key West or anywhere in the Keys, we also install: delivery, leveling, plumbing, the first fill, cycling and the handover. - Equipment and dry goods ship at their own rate. Free shipping at $349 or more applies to qualifying livestock only — corals, fish, inverts and live copepods. The $10 box & handling fee is a livestock packing fee and does not apply to dry-goods orders.

- Register your product with the manufacturer and keep your receipt — their warranty is how a faulty unit gets replaced, and they are faster at it than a shop could be.
