The Red Sea MAX NANO G2 XXL Aquarium (53 Gal) is a fully equipped, plug-and-play reef system built around Red Sea’s REEF-SPEC standards for lighting, filtration, and circulation. Everything needed to run a healthy reef ships in the box, so there’s no guesswork over compatible equipment.

Volumes are Red Sea’s figures for the system as built. Actual water volume in your room will be lower once rock and sand go in, and the display figure is the tank itself rather than the whole system. The cabinet is optional on the MAX NANO, so measure your stand as well as your ceiling before you order.

The rear sump is ReefATO+ and NanoMat-ready, so the system can be upgraded later with Red Sea’s auto top-off and fleece-roller filtration (both sold separately) without any modification. The included ReefLED G2 lighting runs the full REEF-SPEC spectrum, from a 10,000K reef-white to a 23,000K REEF-SPEC blue, with sunrise/sunset, lunar cycle, and acclimation programs built into the ReefBeat app.

- Equipment and dry goods ship at their own rate. Free shipping at $349 or more applies to qualifying livestock only — corals, fish, inverts and live copepods. The $10 box & handling fee is a livestock packing fee and does not apply to dry-goods orders.
- All sales are final on equipment and dry goods. We are a retail store, not the manufacturer.
- Register your product with the manufacturer and keep your receipt — their warranty is how a faulty unit gets replaced, and they are faster at it than a shop could be.
