The Red Sea REEFER Deluxe 425 G3 pairs the G3 chassis with Red Sea’s ReefLED G2 lighting fitted and mounted at the factory, so the lighting is matched to the tank instead of chosen separately after the fact. Its display holds 90.6 gallons, the sump holds 24, and the whole system carries 114.4 gallons of water on a 47.2 by 23.6 inch footprint. This configuration ships with 2x ReefLED 170.

Volumes are the manufacturer’s figures for the system as built. Actual water volume in your room will be lower once rock and sand go in. Total height is measured to the top of the tank with it standing on its cabinet, so measure your ceiling and any shelf above the tank before you order.

Deluxe is the middle option. You get lighting handled and correctly mounted, and you still choose your own skimmer, roller and flow. If you already own lights you like, buy the standard REEFER instead and put the money into filtration.
Two ReefLED 170 units bring more punch per fixture than the 115s, which is the right call on a deeper tank where the light has to reach the sand bed.
Will it fit, and is it the right size for you
Four feet long, 23.6 inches deep, 90.6 gallons in the display. If someone asks us which REEFER to buy and gives us no other information, this is the one we name. The footprint takes a real aquascape, the volume is forgiving enough to survive a mistake, and it still fits a normal wall in a normal house.
What goes with the REEFER Deluxe 425 G3
A lid is the one accessory we tell people to buy at the same time as the tank, not later. Every wrasse, every anthias and most of the tangs worth owning will find the one gap you left open. The one cut for this exact model is the Red Sea mesh lid for the REEFER 425 G3.
- Skimming and mechanical filtration: the sump is cut for the REEFER DC 300, REEFER DC 600, REEFER DC 900 and the ReefMat 250, ReefMat 500, ReefMat 1200. Which size you want depends on how heavily you plan to stock and feed the tank, not only on the water volume, so call us and we will size it against your actual plan rather than a chart.
- In-tank flow: ReefWave 25 and ReefWave 45.
- Everything else Red Sea: salt, Reef Foundation, Trace Colors, test kits, dosing and ATO are all in our Red Sea department.

We are an authorized Red Sea dealer and we order any REEFER G3 configuration directly, including finishes and sizes that are not listed on this page. If you are in Key West or anywhere in the Keys, we also install: delivery, leveling, plumbing, the first fill, cycling and the handover. - Equipment and dry goods ship at their own rate. Free shipping at $349 or more applies to qualifying livestock only — corals, fish, inverts and live copepods. The $10 box & handling fee is a livestock packing fee and does not apply to dry-goods orders.

- Register your product with the manufacturer and keep your receipt — their warranty is how a faulty unit gets replaced, and they are faster at it than a shop could be.
