Description
NP-Bacto-Balance is carbon dosing with a safety net. Rather than a bare carbon source that can strip a system bare, it pairs selected organic carbon compounds with inorganic nitrogen and phosphorus, so bacteria lock excess nutrients into biomass without driving nitrate and phosphate to zero.
That balance is the whole reason to pick it over plain vodka or biopellets: far less risk of a nutrient crash, cyano outbreak or bacterial bloom, and corals, sponges and other filter feeders keep the trace nutrition they actually need. Start at the low end of the label dose and climb gradually – carbon dosing rewards patience.
The 500 ml bottle is the practical size for a single display tank.
