PolyGuard is the broadest of the Seachem treatments, covering parasitic, bacterial and fungal disease in a single product. That makes it the pragmatic choice when a fish is plainly sick and the symptoms do not point clearly at one cause.
Quarantine tank only, not reef safe. Breadth is a trade-off – a targeted treatment beats a broad one whenever you have a confident diagnosis. Use PolyGuard when you do not have one, and move to something specific once the symptoms tell you more.
The 100 g size suits a regularly used quarantine system.

- Equipment and dry goods ship at their own rate. Free shipping at $349 or more applies to qualifying livestock only — corals, fish, inverts and live copepods. The $10 box & handling fee is a livestock packing fee and does not apply to dry-goods orders.
- All sales are final on equipment and dry goods. We are a retail store, not the manufacturer.
- Register your product with the manufacturer and keep your receipt — their warranty is how a faulty unit gets replaced, and they are faster at it than a shop could be.
