Coral/Fish/Invert Return Policy
Thank you for shopping with us! We take great pride in offering healthy, high-quality coral for your aquarium. To ensure your satisfaction and the well-being of the coral, please review our return policy below.
1. Eligibility for Return
- Timeframe: Returns must be requested within 24 hours of the delivery date.
- Condition: Coral must be in its original condition, including packaging and any accompanying documentation. Coral that has been altered or damaged will not be eligible for return.
2. Return Process
- Request: Contact our customer service team via e-mail info@theunderwatergardener.com to initiate a return. Please provide your order number and reason for the return.
- Approval: Once we receive your return request, we will provide instructions for returning the coral. Do not return the coral before receiving approval from us.
- Shipping: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance to ensure the coral is returned safely.
3. Refunds and Exchanges
- Refunds: Once we receive and inspect the returned coral, a refund will be issued to the original payment method, minus any applicable shipping fees. The refund process may take up to 10 business days.
- Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. If you wish to purchase a different coral, please place a new order.
4. Non-Returnable Items
- Coral that shows signs of neglect or improper care.
- Coral that has been altered or damaged after delivery.
- Special orders or custom coral arrangements.

5. Health and Quality Assurance
- We thoroughly inspect all coral before shipping to ensure its health and quality. If you receive coral that is visibly damaged or deceased upon arrival, please contact us immediately with photographic evidence. We will assess the situation and may offer a replacement or refund based on the circumstances.

- Acclimation: It is crucial to follow proper acclimation procedures upon receiving your coral. Failure to acclimate the coral correctly can impact its health and viability.
- Care: Proper care and maintenance are essential for the coral’s well-being. Our care instructions are provided with each purchase, and adherence to these guidelines is necessary for the coral’s long-term health.
